What it is, what you need, how to get help.

The Only Way is John LaCroix's guitar rig from Ten Yard Fight's final EP, brought to Mac and Windows. It uses Neural Amp Modeler captures of an early-90s Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier, like the one John played on the record. Plug a guitar into an audio interface, load the LaCroix preset, and play through that sound, or shape your own for practice, writing and recording.

To play

You need a guitar, an audio interface, and headphones or monitors. Open the standalone app, choose your interface in Audio/MIDI Settings, pick a buffer size you can live with, and play. The LaCroix preset is the record's sound; everything else starts from there.

To record

Use the plug-in inside your DAW. On Mac that's the Audio Unit or VST3; on Windows the VST3. The plug-ins come with the direct installer, not the Mac App Store edition, which is the standalone app only.
