The Only Way: play the guitar rig behind Ten Yard Fight's final EP
John LaCroix's Dual Rectifier rig from the record, on Mac and Windows: 16 captures of one early-90s Recto, two channels, a pedalboard, cab choices, and the LaCroix preset.

I played bass, then guitar, in Ten Yard Fight. The guitar sound on our final EP, "The Only Way," came out of an early-90s Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier. The Only Way is that rig, brought to Mac and Windows so you can plug in and play through it.
It's built for playing, practicing, writing riffs, and recording.
What you're playing through
The amp is Neural Amp Modeler captures of an early-90s Dual Rectifier, like the one I played on the record. There are 16 captures in total, and they're all the same amp: one head, caught at different settings, not 16 different amps. Pick a capture for each of the two channels and turn the knobs you'd expect: gain, bass, mid, treble, presence, master.
Below it is the pedalboard. A channel switch. A Tube Screamer-style overdrive to push the front end. A noise gate for tight chugs and stops. And a polyphonic tuner: hit all six strings at once and it tells you which ones are out.
After the amp, a 4x12 cab voice with ten selectable impulse responses, then a five-band output EQ and a limiter so the signal never clips on the way out.
Start with the record
Load the LaCroix preset and you're playing the EP sound. It uses two of the captures, one per channel. Use it as-is, or tweak it and save your own. A preset keeps every control the way you left it.
